The Swiss State Department chooses Nico Brina as Boogie Woogie-, Blues- and Rock'n'Roll-ambassador 2006 in Santo Domingo - live concert at the Teatro National.

Nico Brina has been invited, together with tapdancer and juggler Lukas Weiss, to the olympic games 2004 in Athen by the german team - Boogie Woogie and Tapdancing.

Nico Brina gets into the guinness book of records 1996 by playing the fastest Boogie Woogie - his left hand plays 608 beats in one minute on the 1/8 Boogie Woogie-Feeling.

In 1995 Nico Brina is awarded with the "Prix Walo" (swiss show award) in the catecory Special Act.
